Another incredibly stunning wine from master winemaker Matt Reynvaan, the 2021 In The Rocks Syrah approaches perfection. Co-fermented with 5% Viognier to give it some added floral lift on the nose, it’s a funky Rocks District Syrah that perfectly showcases its sense of place. Velvety texture and tannins grace the finish with notes of black-peppered charcuterie, roasted blueberries, pink grapefruit, hoisin sauce, and iron combining perfectly. It finishes long with a unique green olive brine note that sits on the back palate. Highly recommended.
