The 2019 Tranche Cabernet Franc is 100% estate fruit from the Blue Mountain Vineyard and is aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak barrels. Boisterous notes of black cherry, grated green peppercorn, mountain sage, toasted nutmeg, old leather, and black tea gather your senses and won’t let go. Chalky tannins need a year or so to settle down, but it’s already drinking wonderfully now (especially with a lengthy decant.) Just 555 cases produced.
