I was surprised by the 2019 Iterum Blanc de Blancs with how much I enjoyed this bottle of wine. The mousse is aggressive to start but dies down within a minute in the glass and then presents a light golden-lemon core with a silvery rim. Scintillating aromas of white clay, yellow apple, white peach, brioche, and marzipan pop on the nose. It has a yeasty and velvety finish that goes on for minutes.
