The 2016 Groth Sauvignon Blanc opens with vivid aromas of gooseberry, Jalepeno pepper, and lemon blossoms. This shows excellent poise and weight on the mid-palate. The texture is lovely, as the palate yeilds flavors of Bosc pear, white flowers, and lemon zest, which connect with bright acidity. This is an outstanding effort from Groth which is accessible now.
