This utterly captivating Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the Stagecoach Vineyard, Napa’s most historic vineyards, located in Atlas Peak. The vineyard was originally farmed by the Krupp Family and was recently sold to the Gallo Family. This Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 22 months in 80% new French oak prior to bottling and begins with seductive aromatics of crème de cassis, dark currants, coffee grounds, mint and anise all taking shape in the glass. The mouthfeel is smooth and voluptuous, layered with concentrated flavors crème de cassis, mint, pipe tobacco, mocha and anise. Silky and beautifully textured, this continues to impress through the multidimensional finish. While this is already excellent now, it also possesses the potential to age gracefully for many years to come.
