HALL Cabernet Sauvignon 'The Bishop' 2014

The 2014 ‘The Bishop’ is named after winemaker, Steve Levaque. The Cabernet is primarily sourced from vineyards in Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain. One of the most impressive wines from the vintage this offers incredible aromatics of cigar box, anise, crème de cassis, coffee grounds and wild blackberry pie, which soar from the glass. Hedonistic and seductive, this continues to impress with its gorgeous plush texture that delivers deep, penetrating layers of sweet pipe tobacco, mocha, crème de cassis, allspice and espresso which cascade on the palate. The seamless quality and textural weight is absolutely fantastic making this nothing short of irresistible. Overall, this is another stunning release from Hall that shows the potential to age for decades. (Best 2017-2044) - August, 2017 (OB)
