The 2014 Carneros Chardonnay opens to exotic aromas of crème brûlée, roasted pineapple, butterscotch and bananas foster. Ripe flavors fill the mid-palate that are reminiscent of vanilla bean, poached pear and crème brûlée, which all lead up to a rich, textured finish that leaves much to savor, as this is quite a mouthful of Chardonnay.
