The 2015 ‘Black Chicken’ Zinfandel is a densely colored wine, which begins with bright aromatics of red currants, red cherries and ripe heirloom tomato. The mid-palate mouthfeel is lovely, as the wine currently showcases a flavor profile of black cherry, black raspberry liquor and pipe tobacco which sit alongside some minerality.
