One of Napa Valley’s esteemed vineyards for Cabernet Sauvignon, the Stagecoach Vineyard is also known for its excellent Zinfandel, and Robert Biale sources theirs from the ‘Biale Block’ which they planted in 1999. Showing a dark core, this has profound aromas of black cherry syrup, licorice, black tea, cigar box and milk chocolate shavings. The palate yields deep flavors of black olive, black tea, black cherries and Arabica coffee. This is dense and wonderfully concentrated as the mouthfeel and balance is to admire.
