The 'Juvenile' Zinfandel is one of the few wines from Turley which is not a single vineyard and actually composed of a variety of young vines ranging from 6-25 years in age that have been replanted in several of their old vine sites. The 2014 is a gorgeous and rich bottling from this estate. This wine is beautifully perfumed with aromatics of raisins, wild strawberry and red cherries. The palate is plush with rich, concentrated flavors of black cherries, strawberry preserves, spice box and blackberry pie all working together beautifully. This is already quite appealing, but I expect it to continue to evolve with some short-term cellaring. (Best 2016-2022) - December, 2016 (OB)
