Sourced from the Stags Leap Vineyard (65%) and the Mt. George Vineyard (35%), the 2012 'Estate' Cabernet by Silverado Vineyards is an excellent wine that showcases this great vintage in Napa Valley. The wine starts with dense aromatics of black cherry, wild blackberry cordial, black tea, anise, Asian spices and suggestions of leather. The palate has a plush mouthfeel, with flavors dark berry fruits, leather, sage, milk chocolate and a graphite edge. This shows nice poise and will surely have some excellent aging potential.
