Located in the eastern end of Napa Valley, the R.W. Moore vineyard is one of the few vineyards that has survived in this area since the turn of the century. This expressive wine starts with aromas of black plum, mocha, blueberry compote and suggestions of nutmeg. There are generous flavors of red cherry, boysenberry cobbler, coffee grounds and black cherry. Dense and delicious, yet elegant, this Zin will do well with some short term cellaring.
