HALL Sauvignon Blanc 2008

This wine is drinking impressively, despite its age. The nose brings cut grass, nutmeg and cantaloupe. There are some lovely secondary characteristics that have developed to the wine on the palate. Smooth mouthfeel with rich flavors of cantaloupe, pear and lychee, as well as vanilla. While HALL is best known for great Cab, this wine drinks like a rock solid Bordeaux blanc and should be enjoyed over the next few years. (Best 2015-2017) - July, 2015 (OB)
