Trefethen maintains its mainstay here with an excellent effort in 2012. Done in the classic Napa, balanced style, the wine opens with aromas of mushroom, red delicious apple and buttered popcorn. Nice mouthfeel with strong minerality, yielding flavors of pear, red delicious apple, and creme brulee. Refined and delicious wine to be enjoyed now. A good value in Napa.
