MASSICAN 'Annia' 2012

The 2012 Massican ‘Annia’ is and interesting white blend from Dan Petroski containing grapes that are mostly indigenous to Italy, which consist of 46% Ribolla Gialla, 36% Tocai Friulano and 18% Chardonnay. The aromas are lovely with fennel seed, green apple, lemon custard, pear, honey, melon and spring flowers. It is incredibly vibrant with great acidity and a silky finish. This is approachable now, but I would recommend cellaring for 2 more years if you can wait. (Best 2014-2022) - November, 2013 - (MD)
