The 2010 Stepping Stone Cabernet Franc brings aromas and flavors of black cherries, currants, bell pepper, chocolate, spices and herbs. Medium to full-bodied with polished tannins and a caressing mouth feel. The alcohol becomes a bit aggressive on the finish, but there is nice lingering notes of dark fruits and bell peppers, which leave a lasting impression. This is a tasty wine, and if approaching now you should allow some generous air contact, but I would recommend waiting a couple of years for it to be at its best.
