The 2009 Frank Family Vineyards Late Harvest Chardonnay was made with botrytized Chardonnay grapes bring left on the vine until perfectly ripened. It brings seductive aromas of asian pear, apricot, honey, herbs, cloves and some fresh minerals poking through as well. It has wonderful richness with with a thick viscous texture that carries over straight through the finish. The wine was aged in 100% French oak for 2 years. (Best 2013-2019) - October, 2013 (JD)
