The 2011 Frank Family Zinfandel Reserve displays a opaque deep ruby color. It brings aromas of roasted plums, blackberry, spices, pepper, herbs and licorice. The rich texture is incredibly smooth and velvety ending in a silky, caressing spice-tinged finish with no hard edges. This will be at its best after some short-term cellaring.
