The 2012 Cakebread Cellars Rosé 'Vin de Porche' is a blend of 95% Pinot Noir from Mendocino County’s Anderson Valley and 5% Napa Valley Syrah. It brings fresh and clean aromas of strawberries, watermelon, wet stones and pretty floral. Shows lovely focus and balance straight through the crisp, vibrant finish. The wine spent 3 months in 50% stainless steel and 50% neutral oak barrels. A fantastic showing for this Rosé. (Best 2013-2015) - June, 2013 - (JD)
