The 2019 Proprietary Red 'EE' is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon from Block 2A in the Tench Vineyard, along with Cabernet Franc. It begins with aromas of ripe blueberries, black cherries and dark currents that come together with exotic spices, earthy nuances, tobacco leaf and herbs. This full-bodied red possesses wonderful opulence and beautifully concentrated fruit, as well as remarkable finesse. It continues to impress as layers of ripe dark fruits expand across the palate leading up to the long finish. This is already a pleasure to drink at this early stage, however it also has all the characteristics that indicate it will offer a long drinking window ahead.
