The 2015 Yao Ming Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from bench land vineyards in Yountville to Northern St. Helena and spent 18 months in 65% new French oak barrels. The wine itself opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums woven together with sweet spices, dried sage, mocha and hints of floral nuances all developing in the glass. This possesses a medium-plus to full body layered with flavors of dark and red fruits and spices that persist through the finish. This is showing well today, and should also develop nice over the course of the next decade.
