PRESQU'ILE Pinot Noir, Santa Maria Valley 2014

The Santa Maria Valley from Presqu'ile is the winery's AVA Pinot Noir from Mount Eden, 777, Pommard, 667, 115 clones, which are sourced from 50% Bien Nacido Vineyard, 30% Presqu'ile Vineyard, 20% Solomon Hills. This gorgeous Pinot Noir opens to beautiful aromas of red cherries, smoke, dried spices, earth with some savoty nuances. It possesses a lovely round texture and demonstrates excellent balance of fruit and acidity through the finish. Accessible now and will continue to drink well with some short-term cellaring.
