The wine starts with black cherry, black olive, allspice and hints of anise. There are rich flavors of black cherry, anise, black olive and cassis. This is polished and layered, showing some nice age from this great vintage as the wine is nicely rounded out. (Best 2016-2023) - September, 2016 (OB)
