The ‘Gaspard’ Syrah is an inky colored wine sourced from the Red Mountain AVA. Smoked brisket, blood orange and coffee ground aromatics fill the nose. On the mouth, there is good richness as the wine unveils black tea, mocha and blueberry compote flavors that connect with lighter citrus rind undertones. This is drinking marvelously now but will cellar well over the next decade.
