SOTER Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Mineral Springs Ranch’ 2021

The 2021 Mineral Springs Ranch Pinot Noir from Soter spent 12 months in 40% new French oak during aging and presents a medium florescent ruby core with a lighter purple rim. Strawberries, black plum, orange pith, toasted anise, pink peppercorn, dried purple flowers, and dusty country road aromas and flavors are wonderfully integrated together. It’s velvety smooth with sweet tannins and perfect acidity levels with a finish that goes on and on. 2400 cases were produced. Drink now or over the next 12-15 years with proper cellaring. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
