Another scintillating Pinot Noir from Shea, this time the 2021 Block 7’ presents a glimmering medium ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass. Red cherry, blue plum, baked exotic spices, and cedary herb qualities on the aromatic nose. As the wine opens up, more milk chocolate and potpourri notes emerge. Vibrant and mouthwatering on the palate, offering additional flavors of black raspberry with touches of vanilla bean. A long and spicy finish with crunchy sweet tannins. Better in 2024, then enjoy for the next decade. Highly recommended.
