The St. Innocent Pinot from the Terrace Block of Shea Vineyard is a knockout in 2018.This wonderful Pinot starts off with inviting aromas of red currants, dark cherry, plum, florals, savory spice, dusty gravel, and hints of espresso that all develop in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied and beautifully structured with velvety, yet supportive tannins. It continues to impress as it displays a wonderful elegance and precision through the long, supple finish. This is a fabulous release from the St. Innocent which is already quite expressive, however it certainly looks to have an extremely bright future ahead.
