UVAGGIO Vermentino ‘Passito’ NV

Historically, Vermintino has been an indigenous varietal to regions of Italy, mainly Sardinia and Liguria. Winemaker Jim Moore has done a fantastic job with this in California. He has allowed the grapes to dry in the sun to bring out the natural sugars for this sweet Vermintino. It has a dark golden color with lovely aromas of pineapple, dried golden raisin, pear compote, honey, cantaloupe and white floral notes. This is nicely structured with a lovely texture and a delicious finish that leaves you wanting more. Drink it now or hold it for another year or two. (Best 2014-2020). (Best 2014-2020) - August, 2014 (MD)
