Aged for 17 months in French oak barrels, this wine sees new oak in the 30% range. The vines of this indulgent, round and polished Pinot Noir were planted in 1984 and gives off a bouquet of star anise, fresh pomegranate seeds, ripe black cherry and a touch of new leather. The palate shows dark red fruits, tangerine zest, sweet ground clove and a hint of tobacco leaf. The polished medium tannins are integrated and the medium plus acidity gives a balanced and lengthy finish.
