RENWOOD Zinfandel, Jack Rabbit Flat Vineyard 2013

The Jack Rabbit Flat vineyard is a 102 year old, dry farmed, vineyard that is located in the Sierra Foothills. This wine begins with aromas of stewed prune, ripe strawberry, and suggestions of milk chocolate. There are flavors of blackberry cobbler, prune, and cocoa powder. This is a lovely dense and layered Zin that will drink well for another decade. Make sure and give this a one hour decant if you can't resist cracking this one right now.(Best 2016-2024) - April, 2016 (OB)
