LANDMARK Pinot Noir 'Overlook' 2013

This California Pinot utilizes grapes from 64% Sonoma County, 27% Monterey County, and 9% San Benito County. Winemaker Greg Stach had the wine sit 10 months in French oak (33% new) and released this wine in February 2015. The wine opens with juicy aromas of raspberry, red cherry and sage. There is a delightful and mineral driven mouthfeel which leads to flavors of red cherry, cola, and raspberry that is a delight to drink in its youth. (Best 2015-2022) - September, 2015 (OB)
