The 2013 Sonoma County Pinot Noir is a superb showing from Banshee. This instantly bursts open with bright aromas of wild berries, raspberry, spices, dried floral, orange peel and wet stones, which resonate through this wine. It continues to impress with its remarkable balance, seamless texture and lovely finesse before ending with a zesty finish. The Pinot Noir for the 2013 is composed from a range of clones including Swan, Calera, Pommard, Martini, 23, 115, 667, 777 and 828, sourced from Hellenthal, Rice-Spivak, Tina Marie, Thorn Ridge, Sullivan, Jack Hill and Coastlands Vineyards.
