The Red Car Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from the Fort Ross-Seaview appellation, which is a much less developed area along he Sonoma Coast. The territory benefits from the surrounding Redwood trees and the cool air off the Pacific. The wine itself offers a deep and beautiful bouquet with notes of strawberries, cherries, black tea, orange peel, soil and a hints of rose petals. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very transparent. It displays a lovely core of fruit, which shows wonderful intensity and focus as it heads into the soft elegant finish.
