The 2012 Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir delivers a nose of black cherry, herbs de Provence, earthy mushroom, licorice, salted meat, floral notes and dark fruit. Balanced and round with lively acid and a long caressing finish. This really begins to express itself after a few hours of air contact, but it will be best to give it a few years in the cellar to flesh out. The fruit was sourced from multiple Sonoma Coast Vineyards including Flowers' Sea View Ridge Estate Vineyard. It was cellared for 11 months in 100% French Oak. (Best 2015-2026) - March, 2014 (MD)
