The 2010 'Carriage House' red is an awesome wine, primarily composed from Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a marvelous herbal quality to this wine as savory nuances of red bell pepper, sage and anise are focused around ripe red cherries. The palate is highlighted by bright acidity, with flavors of blackberry pie, anise and cassis which alongside green bell pepper. This impresses despite cool conditions of the vintage.
