CO DINN Cabernet Sauvignon 'Painted Hills Vineyard' 2014

This excellent wine by Co Dinn is a blend of 83% Cabernet with the remainder Malbec and Petit Verdot. This wine was aged 20 months in 50% new French oak prior to bottling. This dense colored Cabernet wine opens with a ripe bouquet of milk chocolate, green bell pepper, and cassis. This shows deep flavors reminiscent of cassis, anise, milk chocolate and suggestions of baking spices. The mouthfeel and texture is voluptuous, as the minerality shines through.
