The 2020 Enchantress Chardonnay features a medium golden core with a silvery rim. Fermented and aged on the lees for 10 months in neutral French oak barrels, the natural fruit shines through. Aromas and flavors of grilled yellow peach, toasted almonds, baked apples, powdered cinnamon, and pineapple tart are all present and wonderfully concentrated. It’s lush, decadent, and one of the better Washington Chardonnay’s I’ve had. Finishes balanced and delicious.
