I love the opportunity to try old Riesling from Washington State, especially when you can still buy bottles in the tasting room for only $15 that are a decade old. Upon opening, the wine displays classic Riesling aromas of dried apple, ripe apricot, with petrol notes dominating. Off-dry in style, the residual sugar in the wine balances nicely with the still-present acidity. I would enjoy this with some spicy Thai green curry. This Riesling has the stuff to age for another decade. 405 cases produced. Best buy.
