The 2017 'Southwest Facing' Sauvignon Blanc was entirely sourced from the famed Boushey Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. Aged for 18 months on the lees in cement eggs, the wine slowly awakens to very pretty green apple, mango and green papaya aromas that connect with the more subtle earthy undertones on the nose. The palate shows both richness and a bright sense of minerality. Kiwi, Gravenstein apple and shades of kumquat all collide on the palate. While delightful in its youth, this beautiful Sauvignon Blanc has both the weight and tension to show well for over the next seven plus years.
