The 2014 Northridge Vineyard Merlot displays aromatics of candied red cherries and rose petals with a touch of oak. The balance of ripe fruit and acidity is notable, as flavors of red cherry, red raspberry and anise combine with a strong tension through the finish. Overall a lovely wine which should continue to cellar well over the course of the next decade. (Best 2017-2027) - November, 2017 (OB)
