The Upland Vineyard Grenache was 100% whole cluster fermented and aged in neutral oak on the lees. This saw constant battonage until malolactic fermentation had been completed. This possesses floral aromatics with rose petals, red cherries and pomegranate and lemon blossom accents. The texture is rich as this offers a wonderful mouthfeel backed by flavors of red cherry, bright strawberry, orange rind and suggestions of Shitake mushroom all underlines by a lovely saline streak. Only 160 cases produced. (Best 2017-2027) - October, 2017 (OB)
