The 2014 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon begins with bold aromatics of blackberry pie and blueberry cobbler along with mocha, black tea which all come together and soar from the glass. This is dense and concentrated, offering complex flavors of coffee grounds, dark chocolate shavings, crushed mint, eucalyptus and creosote. Moderately tannic, this needs another year in the bottle to fully come together. This Cabernet is dynamic and lithe, yet massive. If enjoying young, give this beautiful wine at least a two hour decant. (Best 2018-2033) - August, 2017 (OB)
