This wine was aged 16 months in 30% new French oak prior to bottling. The Chardonnay opens with aromas of toasted hazelnuts, brioche, and Pazzaz apple. There are dense flavors of vanilla cream, poached pear and lemon zest. Boasting delicious fruit flavors and lithe minerality this has plush mouthfeel on the palate. This wine is really a joy to drink right now. Only 160 cases made of this fantastic Chardonnay. (Best 2016-2023) - April, 2016 (OB)
