Andrew Will has been sourcing from the esteemed Champoux vineyard for decades. This is a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, with 13% Cabernet Franc that was aged 18 months prior to bottling in May 2014. The wine opens with aromas of blueberry compote, blackberry and mocha. This leads to rich, concentrated flavors of blueberry, anise, mocha and crème de cassis that float alongside lovely minerality. The 2012 Sorella is gorgeous wine that has a wonderful Bordelaise feel and shows off this exceptional vintage.(Best 2016-2028) - April, 2016 (OB)
