BAER 'Star' 2012

This wine saw 22 months in French oak and is a blend of 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc. The wine has somewhat shut down aromatics with black fruits. A softer style of wine with a plush mouthfeel. Flavors of black cherry, black tea and black olive persist. Deep and rich with a long life ahead of it. Drinking nicely now but can improve. Buy a case of this and cellar it.
