A blend of 40% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 35% Mourvedre that is aged for 18 months in neutral French oak. A shimmering medium ruby-brick core with a light red rim in the glass, it develops lovely black-pepper and meaty tones at first blush. The palate brings blue plum, boysenberry, iron ore, wet earth, crushed briney olives, and candied lavender petals to the finish. 123 cases made.
