BIG BASIN VINEYARDS Pinot Noir, Lester Vineyard 2012

The Lester Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from a low elevation site, 485-570 ft. above sea level. It is made from Pinot Noir 37 (Mt Eden), 115 and 667 Clones from vines which are 14 years old. As this begins to open, it displays lovely ripe red berries, fresh mineral, soil, and rose petal. A flat-out delicious Pinot Noir, with great balance and a gorgeous texture. This is showing very well today and will continue to improve with additional bottle age. (Best 2017-2027) - May, 2015 (MD)
