The 2014 Robert Biale 'Limerick Lane Vineyard' Zinfandel is another gorgeous effort from this esteemed estate. The wine comes from an ancient vineyard, planted in the 1910s, which is known for coastal fog influence. As this slowly develops in the glass, the wine yields aromatics reminiscent of rose petals, prune, red cherry and allspice. There are flavors of cloves, baking spices, black plum, red cherry and red raspberry. The smoothness and texture of this wine is absolutely gorgeous. (Best 2016-2026) - June, 2016 (OB)
