The Robert Mondavi Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is a tremendous showing in 2012 . This is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot, with 80% of the grapes sourced from To Kalon Vineyard. As this opens in the glass, it releases wonderful aromas of black cherries and dark currants woven together with mocha, sage and pretty spice notes. However, it is most impressive for its absolutely gorgeous, full-bodied, silky texture and well-integrated tannins, along with remarkable structure and balance through the finish.
