The 'Espirit de Tablas' is a wonderful showing which delivers expressive aromas of red cherries, dried sage, red currant and a touch of blood orange that soar from the glass. The aromatics continue to become even show more range and expression with air contact. On the palate the astringency and poise is fantastic and sets the tone for a wonderful combination of red and dark fruits. The light, flinty quality to the wine adds to the drinking enjoyment. Dense and chewy this is a wonderful wine by Tablas Creek.
